他们说，有人说是施洗的约翰。有人说是以利亚。还有人说，是古时的一个先知又活了。
They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.
耶稣切切的嘱咐他们，不可将这事告诉人。
And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;
又说，人子必须受许多的苦，被长老祭司长和文士弃绝，并且被杀，第三日复活。
Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
人若赚得全世界，却丧了自己，赔上自己，有什么益处呢。
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
说了这话以后，约有八天，耶稣带着彼得，约翰，雅各，上山去祷告。
And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
他们在荣光里显现，谈论耶稣去世的事，就是他在耶路撒冷将要成的事。
Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
他被鬼抓住，就忽然喊叫。鬼又叫他抽疯，口中流沫，并且重重的伤害他，难以离开他。
And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and bruising him hardly departeth from him.
我求过你的门徒，把鬼赶出去，他们却是不能。
And I besought thy disciples to cast him out; and they could not.
他们走路的时候，有一人对耶稣说你无论往那里去，我要跟从你。
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
耶稣说，狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，只是人子没有枕头的地方。
And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
